What this covers

This policy describes what happens to personal information on www.ampilapps.com, the website you are reading. It is written against what the site actually does rather than from a template.

It does not cover the mobile applications we build. Any application we publish carries its own privacy policy describing what that application collects, because the answer is different for each one.

What you send us

The only place this site asks for personal information is the inquiry form. If you use it, we receive:

• Your name
• Your email address
• The service you selected, if you selected one
• Whatever you write in the message

We use it to read your message and reply to you. We do not add you to a mailing list, and we do not use it for anything else.

At present the form has no delivery service configured, so it opens your own email application with the message filled in. Nothing is sent anywhere until you press send in your own email client, and it arrives with us as an ordinary email.

The form also contains a hidden field that people never see. It exists to catch automated spam. If it is filled in we discard the submission without sending it anywhere.

What is collected automatically

This site is hosted by Vercel. Like any web host, their servers record ordinary request information: the IP address the request came from, the browser and operating system it reports, which page was asked for, and when. This keeps the site running and helps identify abuse.

The page loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. That request goes to Google, so Google receives the IP address of anyone who loads the site. We do not control what Google does with it. Their handling is described in the Google privacy policy.

What this site does not do

Stated plainly, because most sites cannot say it:

• No cookies are set, so there is no cookie banner to dismiss
• No analytics, no tracking pixels, no session recording
• No advertising networks and no profiling
• Nothing is stored in your browser between visits
• We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information, and we never will

How long we keep things

We keep inquiry messages for as long as we need them to answer you and to keep an ordinary record of our correspondence. You can ask us to delete yours at any time and we will.

Server logs are kept by our host under their own retention schedule, not ours.

Your choices

Write to owner@ampilapps.com and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You do not need to give a reason, and there is no charge.

Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under local law, including in California and the European Economic Area. Ask us and we will honour them.

Security and children

The site is served over HTTPS. It does not ask for payment details, government identifiers, or any other sensitive information, and you should not send those to us through the form.

This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us something, write to us and we will remove it.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. There is no archive of previous versions, so the current text is the whole policy.
